Teacher’s Day Celebration - 2017

Teachers mould the lives that they influence because the lessons learnt from teachers remain with their students throughtout their life. We should always respect our teachers. Teachers need encouragement and support from the community to feel that their devotion to students is appreciated. We Celebrated Teacher’s Day on Tuesday 5th September 2017 in three phases. The day started by all the office bearers positioned in an arch and welcomed the teachers by putting a tilak and pinning up of badges.

The celebration started by giving tribute to Dr. SarvpalliRadhakrishnan. To start the programme on a pious note the scripture was read and then a hymn was sung, followed by a prayer dance by the students. There were group dances, songs, mime act and skits.

The vice Principal Mrs. Joyce Pereira addressed the gathering by saying that the teachers and students relationship is a sacred one. The Principal then thanked the students for their love and arrangement of such a good programme. He motivated them to grow up as true Aloysians following their motto, “Excellence Through Hardship”.
