Annual Sports 2019-20

The 5th annual athletic meet of St. Aloysius School, Gaur, was held on Friday 31st January 2020, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the welcoming of the dignitaries followed by the floral presentation to the chief guest, Mr Kalim Masood Khan, Second in Command, 29 Battalion 1 ITBP, Jabalpur, and the guest of honour Dr. Fr. G. Vazhan Arasu, Principal, St Aloysius College( Autonomous) Jabalpur. The Inaugural dance performed by the students mesmerized each and every one. The students entered into the spirit of the sports meet in a grand way with the oath by athletes being administered by the School captain Mst. Martunjay Dwivedi. The energizing PT displays set the tone for the rest of the events. The students also displayed Gymnastics and Karate which mesmerized the audience. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.

Students of classes LKG to 7th competed in various events including flat race, relays, grandparent’s race, obstacle race, mass drill, aerobics with wings, March past, etc. Parent’s race added colour to the day. The overall champion’s trophy was awarded to Varun Pathak & Kaustubh Mishra of the yellow and green house and the best house trophy was awarded to the Green house. The programme was a great success under the able guidance of the Manager Rev. Fr. Sibi Joseph, Principal Sr.Deepa, Sports Secretary Ms. Laarnie George Co- incharge Mrs. Christina Philip and PTI Mr. Atul Patel...
